The IT Fundamentals Certificate is a new 15 credit post-baccalaureate certificate which provides an introduction to the background and practice of information technology. This certificate can be completed 100% online.

The certificate is intended for students with non‐technical backgrounds who are interested in pursuing professions or graduate study in the field of information technology. Interested and qualified students may transfer from this certificate to the M.S. in Information Technology or the M.S. in Cyber Security programs.

Admission

We are currently accepting applications for the Fall 2018 semester. Students wishing to start work on courses in the certificate prior to Fall 2018 may apply to the Graduate School as non-degree students. Following Fall 2018, students may be admitted in any semester: Fall, Spring, or Summer. To be admitted, applicants must have a completed Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution and meet all Graduate School admission requirements. Contact our Admissions Team to learn more.
