The Department of Music will host  guest artists Isabella Heigl (painting) and Agustín Castilla-Ávila (electric guitars) in an improvisational session of painting and music based on ideas and quotations by Bob Dylan.  The “Never Ending Artist” performance (about 45 minutes) is funded by the International Society of Mozarteum University Salzburg in Austria.  Admission is free and open to the public.

Admission is free for everyone, no ticket required, all seats general admission
A benefit concert to aid Ukrainian refugees will be held in the Chapel of the Resurrection at Valparaiso University on Sunday, April 10, 2:00p. Admission is free for everyone, no ticket is required, and all seats are general admission.
Volunteer donations will be collected by the Chapel and will be given to CARE, a USAID-supported organization sending immediate aid for both physical and mental health needs. Donate via the special Ukraine collection box in the Chapel or online here. 
The concert is being organized by Valparaiso University music education students, in conjunction with band members from the Valparaiso Community/University Concert Band, Windiana Concert Band, Valparaiso University Luce Concert Band, Valparaiso University Chamber Concert Band, and Michigan City Municipal Band. This performance will not be available to live stream.
